Mind and Destiny

"It is our duty, all of us, everyone who cares to reverse the national decline of our knowledge and understanding of history, and to renew a true appreciation of this great country, why it became great and what will keep it so." -- Sen. Robert Byrd

Our Policies

It has been ascertained that al Qaeda was responsible for 9/11, and fifteen of the nineteen perpetrator were Saudi Arabian Sunni Muslims. None were Shiites from Iraq or Iran.

The problem is that 60 percent of the people in Iraq are Shiites, and 20 percent are Sunni. The Sunni insurgents don’t want to be ruled by the Shiites majority, so their fighting against Democratic rule. The Shiites majority includes people like al-Sadr’s militia, who are viscously fighting back.

Senator Joe Biden the ranking Democrat on foreign relations presented a plan to give regional control in Iraq to Sunnis, Shiites and Kurds. Biden believes the people of Iraq would support the idea of a confederacy which offers a lot of autonomy to these three separate groups. However, the decision to divide up Iraq into three regions must be a decision made by the Iraqi people and not one imposed by an imperialistic occupier.

We supported Saddam Hussein in a bloody 10 year war against Iran and the Republican capitalists are again threatening the Iranians. Americans don’t understand Iran’s desire to possess a nuclear weapon to protect themselves from capitalistic imperialist.

In the Holy City of Qom, Grand Ayatollah Saanei insists: “Martyrdom for your faith should never be confused with suicide terrorism.... Terrorists should go to Hell, and that is our belief. But if the enemy attacks us, we have the right to defend ourselves in any possible way.... We love martyrdom because it leads us to heaven and because we will be helped on the Day of Judgment.”

Iranians claim to be God’s warriors and as God’s soldiers, they kill in the name of God. Everybody understands if your country is attacked, you will defend it. But what many Americans don’t understand is the love of martyrdom that exists in Islam and particularly Shiism. The true believers are still in Iran. If an enemy attacks even an inch of their territories, all Iranians from children to old men, are ready to fight.

The former head of the bin Laden unit, Michael Scheuer insists: “It’s about the impact of our policies in the Islamic world. And because we won’t talk about that here in America, we’re not adequately defended.”
