Neocon Agenda
The neocon agenda is to increase the federal budget deficit up to the point where they can cut back government to where they want it to be. They’re seeking to privatization everything they possibly can and get rid of entitlement programs. This is the reason the neocon agenda is so unpopular.
Neocons have a 25-year plan to break the bank to a point that middle class entitlement programs will have to be drastically cut or abolished. Americans want accountability and they don’t want privatization of program that have worked such as Social Security, Medicare or our armed forces.
The Pentagon has plenty of money for our troops, but most of the appropriations are going to private militias such as Blackwater. There are as many “contractors” in Iraq as regular members of our armed forces.
Every year, hundreds of billions of emergency appropriations never go to support our troops. Instead they have been sent directly into the pockets of crony war profiteers. This is another form of foreign outsourcing. We now know that many thousands of these mercenaries have been recruited by Blackwater from countries like South Africa and Chile.
We spend billions of dollars training our armed forces, but many leave to go to Blackwater, who in turn sell their services back to us at a massive markup, as much as 10 times as much. This impacts the morale of our troops who see mercenaries, who are better equipped getting rich for doing the same duty.
The ranks of our troops are constantly decimated, by offering our best men deals to leave the service to become mercenaries. It’s being done with taxpayer money and our military can’t compete. The privatization of the military is absolutely the worst possible thing for democracy and peace. It makes endless war a corporate imperative.
