Hatred Fostered
It’s unreasonable to conclude that al Qaeda would be able to invade this country and defeat the most powerful military on earth. It’s much more likely that our Constitutional rights will be gradually eroded from within, by the executive branch of government.
Counter terrorism expert Richard Clark served under four presidents and on 9/11, he was the nations crisis manager in the White House situation room. Clark wrote that when we invaded an oil rich Arab country that posed no threat to us, we delivered to al Qaeda the greatest recruitment propaganda imaginable. Furthermore the invasion of Iraq provided those responsible for 9/11, with an opportunity to regroup, foster more hatred, and encouraged more terrorist and insurgents to kill Americans.
The Bush regime has encouraged terrorism and fostered a culture of fear. Fear suppresses reason and enables the executive branch to disregard the Constitution.
